harmony is more than one pitch played at the same time to
produce a single effect. it's not some catch-all term for
musical goodness.

i like that definition, except i would broaden it to...

anything said, thought or felt to be music by anything or
anyone. music is a characteristic of life/existence.

harmony is NOT originally a music term, so look up
dictionaries

gantz grag makes use of the shepherd tone, which is an
auditory illusion causing the brain to perceive a constantly
ascending tone
