Ceri: yeah that's a sweet track at the beginning of Iced
Cooly .. I liked it too, it leads in perfectly to the main
track.

bill_hicks: yeah, calling everyone on here indescriminately
'plebs' is gonna make you some enemies, just be happy :D so
you hate BoC. fine, don't diss us cuz our taste isn't as
refined.

refined enough.

hehe I know.. I was trying a little irony .. or sarcasm, or
something .. lol. I hesitate to say sarcasm cuz it wasn't
meant to be mean spirited .. :)

Agreed, we are all entitled to opinions - fine. some may
find Geogaddi boring etc But to say something is "shit, pure

shit" shows a rather "uninspiring and derivative" mind dont
you think Mr Hicks!!

That's such a lovely little gem of a tune, right at the end.
The quiet bit before Iced Cooly is also cool, agreed. I
love those little snippets, as long as they're part of
bigger tracks (I hate it when BoC pass off 1min tracks as
full tracks. Grr.)

Chris Ochre says: "(I hate it when BoC pass off 1min tracks
as
full tracks. Grr.)"

what, by simply giving them titles? come on.
i remember reading some comment on a message board where
somebody said BOC were ripping people off because there were
23 titles on geogaddi, of which about 11 were short 1minute
tracks. hahaha, i mean, even without the short tracks the
album would have been 12 tracks long, which is longer than
the average album!!!

i personally think it's great that they attach importance to
all the small tracks, and the titles being listed on the
album just adds to the whole thing.

some people are just gagging to complain about everything!

And no one answered my black cd-question. Dammit!

BoC are meant to be listened to as albums... not individual
songs... in my opinion at least... so, the smaller songs
make more sense in the context of the whole album...

also, maybe I'm the only one, but I find Geogaddi to be a
big step above MHTRTC... Geogaddi is just so much better
imo...

Coloured CDs are available, they just tend to cost a bit
more, and some older CD players (really old) cannot 'see'
through the colour to play.

In all, there are three 'unlisted' tracks on Twoism; the one
just before Iced Cooley, and the one just before Twoism, and
then of course, 1986 Summer Fire.

I'm working on the trackname of the one that appears before
Twoism - it's also part of 'Triangles and Rhombuses' on
MHTRTC.

Geogaddi is a progression, an evolution of BOC's sound. I
reckon their new material (due soon) will sound different,
but still have that signature BOC sound.

I agree the Geogaddi is different, but still a very good
album. It does keep the BoC sound though, defiantely.

As Ninja Tune say, "It's always changing and it's always the
same."

I look forwards to their next release it'll be interesting
to see which direction they move in (cringes at the thought
of them doing hard trance, etc.)...

I'd personally like them to revisit some guitar-laden tracks
like "Wouldn't You Like To Be Free?" in their newer work.

Geogaddi generated 4 years' worth of tracks, so we might be
hearing the Geo sound for some time, unless BOC is releasing
brand new material for the new release.

'wouldn't you like to be free?' is beautiful, loved it for a
long time .. I desperately would like to hear the rest of
the track and/or CD .. it's almost painful how rare those
releases are. of course, if I were to hear it, it wouldn't
be so alluring anymore.. what a paradox, or irony, or
something..
