The biggest problem when you do music...

What is the biggest problem or hardship you have in the
music making process?

Mine is that my stuff always seems sounding too minimal, and
empty...I always use too few layers than I would want to...
=\

My production always lacks in Quality :(

And I always have trouble getting started... =\

it used to come so naturally too. i am trying though at the
moment. finding it very dificult though. i have some great
ideas, its just getting them to happen and sound anything
like what i hear in my head.

between 86-93 i wrote about 60 tunes, then i must have done
about another 5 in the next 2 years, then nothing since then
except little loops and stuff. but i'm slowly getting back
into it. i'm sure you'll be the first to know when i
eventually get around to doing something :)

umh I recenteley don`t have any ideas...
I don`t hear the music in my head...
I just experiment with patterns...

the hardest part for me is making good sounding sounds

the hardest part is being in the right mood

i have to be in a certian mind frame... and not just "i feel
like writing a track right now"

its something more...

dont know

but its a good aweful feeling when you try to write
something, and you listen and are just like, bah, i got
nothing.

then you stop for the night.

Toejam: I quite enjoyed the track, I really liked the
synths, but i think the biggest problem was that it was too
naked.

Try to put more elements, more layers in it...

I hate that feeling!

Sometimes it makes me want to give uo the whole music
production thing...

"I'm the sort of person that's really critical of

theres enough people here that will criticise you no matter
what, so let them do it, and relax.

;)
