do you think there is a difference between normal cdr's and
audio cdr's ?
except of the cost of course.

i use audio cdr's. i have to, becausei don't have a "normal"
cd-burner. i bought a philips hifi-system last year and it
was cd-recorder built in it. (Make Your Own CDs)

anyway, i think i've heard somewhere that the sound quality
on audio-cdr's is better, but i can't possibly tell. sounds
pretty similar to me.

yeah, i know that the cd's are made of different
ingredients, but does it really change something ? anyway,
you wouldn't make vinyl's out of simple plastic huh ?

bits are bits
either on or off.so its not like analogue where you will get
poor sound reproduction. unless the normal cd-rs do not
retain their infromation properly, which they obviosly do.
but there is some difference in how the recording process is
carried out possibly. id ont know

i don't wanted to ask you, if there is a TECHNICALLY
difference. i know there is. but i wanted your own opinion.
have you tried to burn the same album on different cd's ?

hm, i thought about your reply. so there has to be a
difference when your stereo doesn't read normal cdr

well, it can't copy on "normal" data cdr's. dunno why.

It can READ and play data cdr's but it cannot burn on them.
