...this place fucking sucks now... I have no interest
whatsoever in this site anymore, because all the fun has
been sucked out of it... as Jarworski said in that other
thread, it was way more fun last year...

I don't know... it's all just crap I find... it's fucking
boring... I guess I'm just losing interest... but dammit, it
was so much more fun last year on V4 when there weren't as
many rules...

bashing everyone on here

pretty soon...

There's barely any rules. There's an average of about half a
locked topic a day.

you know Funk doesn't bash people like that, he is just
expressing his opinion

not really... I am bashing the fact that everything has
become so serious... that is not the fault of the members,
but by the new rules, and all the moderators closing topics
every which way...

I also agree with some people that it is the seasons, and
that people just go through phases, people are here more
that used to lurk.

People that were always here go away for a while. It is
still the best messageboard I've ever been a member of.

but if there wasn't a dip you wouldn't see any rise, and if
it was all the same all the time you'd get even more bored!

all i can say is lead by example. i've never had a topic
closed, and there is a reason for that

well, the message board is slowly loosing one of it's most
prevalent members, whether anyone cares... I have the most
points here, so that obviously shows I had a HUGE interest
in this site... and anyone can dissagree with this, but I
have used my points for my fair share of serious topics...
however, I'm just getting bored with this... and again,
whether anyone actually cares, I find myself slowly coming
here less and less...

go answered.

In the last 300 topics (I looked), ONE has been closed, and
Phob closed it because it was about an illegal FTP. I fail
to see where the overly tough rules are... little help?

I think the reason for that is that people know that if they
post a stupid, funny thread, it will be closed... and
everyone will rag on them for it... so they don't post it...
so, yes, there probably aren't many threads closed...

I used to enjoy V4 because we could fool around... I really
had fun pretending to be REFLEX, and GEMMA PATTERSON... and
all that... but now, it seems like all the fun is gone...

Only phenomenally stupid stuff is locked... hell, Vit C has
made about 30 topics in the last 48 hours and not one has
been locked! Blimey! And they rate high on the silliness

like is said in the other thread:

"In my opinion... and no offense to webmasters... I know
they
are doing everything they can... but I do beleive it is due

to the fact that xltronic is not fully operational.

We were given a release date of August. 4 months later, and

there is no set release date. I think people are just
getting alittle bored/pissy cause its not up yet.

I think as soon as its up, itll be like the climax and
release of an orgasm. Everyone will just relax and smile.

Imo."

I guess I was a bit too harsh up front as well... it doesn't
TOTALLY fucking suck... sorry about that... it's just, it
was soooooooo much better imo... as I've said before, I used
to really enjoy this site because I could have serious
discussions about music, with music fans, but then also joke
around with them about pointless things... now it's all
serious it seems... so it's lost a lot of the initial charm
that it had with me...

Okay boys. Let's calm down and put our heads back together.
We all know Funkmaster is pulling Random Idiot Posting crap.
It's Funkmaster. Let him complain sometimes. (Not all the
time, just sometimes.) Now on to the 'real' problem, which
is Funk's dissatisfaction with this board... perhaps we
could all agree to post those random topics, and if they get
closed, big deal. Who cares? Everyone ought to experience
topic-closure at some point in their life. I don't mean
that you should post some weird thing that says "bleeeeeh
yark noing gobbledygook". But take a risk in silliness. And
if you think a topic is dumb, don't give the poster slack
about it. That's what the mods are for. Just ignore the
person and move on.

should just read some funny quotes from Jack Handey, or
maybe bash.org
