actually, it's a common myth among snobbish aphex twin fans that bjork approached RDJ about collaborating despite not knowing anything about making good or intelligent music, and richard turned her down because she's so popular and commercially viable. the myth is pretty insulting since the fans who perpetuate it obviously know or care nothing about bjork's atristry, or respect or knowledge of for other creative minds. they also underestimate RDJ's openmindedness (or overestimate his snobbishness). |

people that don't listen to bjork or hate her cos she makes videos or gets on magazine covers or whatever. trust me, once someone starts dissing bjork (respectful criticism is ok) i pretty much write them off as idiots and don't take anyting they say seriously ever again. |

Actually Aphex did say Bjork wanted to work with him but they didn't get to it because of the business people Bjork surrounds herself with. I am sure it is all in an interview that used to be up at .nu (I dunno if it is still there) |

i'm not saying the prospect was never brought up, just that we don't really know anything about why nothing's happened and it's rude and ignorant of afx fans to bash bjork because a collaboration hasn't occured. maybe it has and bjork didn't think the material was good enough to be released. we just don't know. |
