SAW 85-92

Why? Maybe because it is an incredible sound experience, and
it's incredible when I think that a boy 16 years old, made
it.

I give you a personal suggest, try to listen the song
"Arched Maid Via RDJ" from Hangable Autobulb 2.

I was gonna reply but I couldn't pick just one. They all are
unique,imho,and cannot be compared :)
Maybe that's why I like the music....

good statement, woofer.

(Thinking about the sound i made in the age of 16: *fart*)

SAW 2, it's the only one I have on CD, all the rest are
vinyl.....plus it's good to go to sleep to, although you
tend to wake up in cold sweats once track 4 off disc 1 kicks
in (I'm asleep by track 3 usually)

depends on my mood.

but it's between saw 85-92, Saw v2, and RDJ album, and maybe
come to daddy

Depends on how I feel that day. Today it would be:

I Care Because You Do
Analogue Bubblebath 1

SAW2 for me..... it's the deepest of any of his records (the
released ones anyway)

balthus from europe on 2001-09-05 00:05 [#00029478]

come to daddy

it has the feel of a day in the life of a kid in an european
suburb, including the kid's nightmares and phantasies.

selected ambient works vol2

because it's not exactly an album with music but more a kind
of a soundscape on two cd's, including a city in the future
at night, rooms, corridors, voices and because it is the
soundtrack for kubrick's never realized A.I.

girl boy ep.

because beetles is beautiful.

windowlicker ep.

i love the equation's 'tactactac.... wooooooiiiiiihhhhh!'
and nannou's melancholy/sadness.

richard d. james album

because of yellow calx, girl boy song, and logon rock witch
and because i have it on vinyl (this is my first vinyl in
years).

donkey rhubarb ep.

because it was my first aphex twin cd (i bought it because
icct hedral was orchestrated by philip glass... ), and
because of pancake lizard.

on ep.

i love the thunderstorm in on and the dark d-scape.

classics

because of the philip glass-like polynomial-c and because
it's a great collection of the darkest aphex tracks.

so, in the end all my aphex cd's are my favourites... well,
i guess i should also to check out i care because you do. i
listened to parts of it on this site... mookid sounds
beautiful.

"...I care because you do." is my favorite because it
strikes the perfect balance between the slow Richard of
SAWII and the fast Richard of RDJ Album. Plus I think ICBYD
is the most beautiful also. But I haven't heard all of
them.
