this is from the theninhotline.net:

-----------------------
Miami.com is featuring a short interview with electronic
musician Richard Devine, and the new NIN album is
mentioned:
And now you're working with Trent Reznor. What's he like?

He's actually really cool, very professional. Trent wants a
different sound, so he was looking for a sound designer. He
flew me out to do a studio session. He's nothing like you
see in the videos. Meeting him was more like a corporate
meeting. He introduced himself like I knew nothing about
him. I'll be polishing his tracks on the new album, adding
breaks and transitions.
------------------------

damn! how good is that album gonna be?!!

What kind of music does Richard Devine make. I've heard of
him, but not heard him.

I think the next NIN album will be sort of a surprise to the
steretypical gothic NIN fanbase. Not that I've heard it or
anything, I just think it may be a little bit more
electronic and experimental than others.
The Fragile was somewhat experimental because of all the
acoustic instruments...some of his fans disliked it. More
than some actually...
He's said that tis album's going to be a bit more harsh and
aggressive than others...so maybe his fans will like it more
than The Fragile?

Actually forget everything I've said.
Let's wait 'till we hear it.

trent's only good at creating a disturbing and scary overall
theme. it's mostly due to the processing of lyrics with the
left brain hemisphere though, not the composition.
