I know I'm not the biggest ae fan by any means, but I am growing to like their stuff more- I'm listening to vletrmx right now and it is very, very good. I think the Skam CDs have been a bridge for me- before it was too big a gap between autechre and "normal" IDM for me to cross. |

Yes I agree with cortex, people were hyping the do you know squarepusher album for month's, some people probubly thought that god himself would be inside every album and come out and pleasure you orally.... but it didnt happen, and people got upset. Of course I got my bj from god, so I was cool with it. |

lol ut when people overhype everything, when you hear the actual album, youll aslmost never be satisfied. same thing with movies. when people tell me to go see a ceratin movie, that's it's the best film they ever saw etc... i expect something thatll change my life! and i leave the theatre a bit disappointed... |

mostly likely NO. Some one put a slew of fake tracks on slsk, so chances are its fake. But I think people should be able to tell a fake from a real one. Autechre use expensive, and unique equipment, and it should be easy to hear if it has the real ae sound. Anyways, yeah. I think you guys should stop hyping it up. Its not goin to be like a CD sent from god. I predict it will be Confield Part II. Alittle more melodic, but only slighty. But its goining to be just as crunchy as Confield, and similiar drum styles etc. I predict many people will call this album a let down, because they think it sounds too much like Confield. Except for the people who like Confield, and wanted more from it... then it will be loved by those people. |
