So what's this website going to be about when (if) it's
completed, apart from this mb ?

I mean just another fansite ?

Cheers

of your daily balanced breakfast

its goin to be a comprehensive database of as many IDM
artists as you can image.

Name an IDM artist, and il bet you money, they will have a
whole section devoted to them, with discog, biog, audio
clips, movie clips, photos, interviews, reviews, etc.

even I didn't realize it was going to be that in-depth for
so many artists... no wonder it's taking so long to finish.
but hey that's not a bad thing, the more time spent on it,
the better it'll be i think

The discography is mind bending, wait till you see it. It
includes even artists from other planets, or so it seems.

I'd love to have streaming clips from every album mentioned
in the discographies then.

At least it will compensate for the fact that I can't use
any p2p programs (inc. slsk) anymore.

I would want to listen to new stuff in order to buy the
original records. Otherwise, I wouldnt know which record to
go for.

I wont waste money on buying records randomly. Know what I'm
sayin' ?

;)

abstract art and so...

yeah that's another brilliant idea.

IDM + Hash induced art.

We can have a sticky thread in the forum where users can
post their artistic escapade of the month

Gonna be a ton of new APhex interviews that haven't been
online before...

Including the short lived APhex Twin fanzine...(30 odd apges
of collected early press etc...)...

Patience and all that...it'll be worth it....

some of you said, it will be great to browse through the
discographies, listen into the titles, and decide to buy or
reject.

we are thinking on linking to an online record shop through
this discography. would it mean to you that the site is
commercialized, and you would avoid buying this way?

if you think it would be successful, what record shops do
you prefer? alas, warpmart doesnt have affiliate program,
and rephlex doesn't even has an online record selling site,
so we would have to go with other more mainstream stuff like
cdnow.com or towerrecords.com

i need your feedback on this. maybe we will even put it into
the poll-box.

cdnow.com or towerrecords.com...
i'd say don't go with that.
