no but if you weren't so wilfully ignorant, patronising and
saracastic you might be interested to know that kissinger
has been appointed by bush to look into the 9/11 attack
However from the information i have provided - if you were
smart enough to read without some idiotic attempt at humoir
you could gauge - he's the last person who should be
appointed for the job

"I am a political science major astrid-gil-hotn"

you often brag about this but i dont really see it showing
in your posts.. the "ive got an education so i know best"
-attitude isnt really convincing.

don't really think it's the same old same old - it's
interesting -
and i do get along with people but when someone says
something as rash and stupid as that i have no time to
suffer them

I wasnt trying to be convincing Gubb... and I am not trying
to brag.

this board is suppost to be about electronic music,
at least that is why I come here... not to talk politics.

I am tired of seeing people here with their "the system is
wrong, lets blame all of our problems on america attitude"
because these kind of people rarely do anything to try and
start change, and most do not even take the time to go out
and vote (I did a study on this with my uncle for my final)

My conclusion is people just dont care, yet they like to
complain, and it usually never goes further then that.

*and now for something completly different*

I am seeing this xltronic board slowly but surly looking
more and more like the mu board everyday.....

... which is a shame, because it used to be full of smart
people and everybody got along just fine. I dont dig the
negativity thats been spreading here in the past couple
month's. It sickens me

i don't blame all my problems on america but as a non-
democrtaically electted reactionary gung ho government - the
us government have an awful lot of unweildy and dangerous
power - something everyoe is acutley aware of across the
world - from bin laden to brussells - i don't blame you
though :)

you know nothing about my political activities, and i
suppose you dont know much about what other people who
complain about the situation in the world on this board does
either.

id rather read a thread about politics then a thread about
someone who hugged a girl, someone who fell in love with a
girl or someone who know a girl that listens to aphex.. but
thats just my personal oppinion.

Sure you dont blame me, but by simply saying "I dont blame
you", shows that you (and the other umteenthousand people
across the world) somewhat relate what our goverment does,
to what we think and do and feel, and relate what our
goverment does to what americans think about global foriegn
policy. People are relating to what our goverment does and
stamping it on the heads of all americans. Some people just
cant get it through their heads and realize that their are
people who live in the U.S that do not support what their
goverment is doing, and that people want to change it
(and change will eventually happen). I think its sad people
can not see this, but whatever, I am tired of talking
politics on this board, and probubly wont do it agian for a
long time

i thought i made it clear that i don't blame you - of course
there is a strong resistance and feeling against your
currrnet government as well as strong support - buti don't
blame you !

I never said that you blamed me, I said that people relate
the american goverment, to what the typical american joe
thinks.... ands its unfair

thats what I said

and gubb, I never said that I knew anything abuot your
"political activities", but I have a pretty good idea of
about why other people around the world complain about the
U.S, its understandable.

well more of them voted for the bush administrationin the
mid term electrons than ever before and the concensus
opinion shows more people supprt ithem than don't so in some
ways it's a fair opinion mate

well, i dont like the fact that you dissmiss our discussions
based on some study you did about people nagging and not
doing shit about it when you know nothing about what people
do when they are not on this board wasting time.

Bush and the American government sucks dick - stating the
obvious.

But Bin Laden is nothing more than a millionaire fascist
dictator who is jealous of America's power. Brussels is a
bunch of pseudo-liberals who want a unified European state,
and they're also jealous of America. In short, all
politicians are assholes.

astrid-gil-botn: in some ways it is, and in some ways its
not, I think its unfair for you to judge and think that all
americans fell this way

gubb: I am not dissmissing your "discussions" and I never
said that I did know what people do outside of this board on
their spare time

none the less a think the truth stung a bit didnt it? Struck
a little to close to home

;*)

and well, I dont like talking politics on a message board
that was initially electronic music

and I think in general the topics are degrading a-lot

I think both of you got your pants in a twist because you
didnt like what you heard said my my posts. So at least i
acomplished something eh?

hahha

no he's a deeply religious fanatic with a particulary
militant take on the koran who thinks he can justify
terrorisim as an act of gods will for the freedom of his
people who he thinks are persecuted.
he's neither fascist or a disctator - to be a dictor you
need a state to dictate over.
allot of what bin laden sees as westen values that conflict
with islam include us foreign policy and un embargos .. ie
palestinne and iraq as well as the support of both iran and
iraq in the war etc..
