thank you muchly whoever you are for sudjesting cubase sx. I have tried tons of software and I have finally found my live tool. It is exactly what I described in that post about what I was looking for.

its a great piece of software
I am soo dissapointed with the new logic, no vst support.....

there is a thing out there that allows you to use vst's inside of dx appz. I have it, it's like an adapter. I don't know where I found it but you can do some searches for "vst adapter" or what not.
I never could get into logic it baffled me for some reason. Which is weird cause I can figure all of these programs out but that one I spent the better part of a night wasting time doing nothing.

I know it would take more than one night, but after an entire night of screwing around I couldn't even get a damn wave file to load in it and I read the manual and everything, I was so mad.
