maybe a dump question, but your works are full of beautiful
bass melodies ... like it a lot.

so do you do anything with it at live gigs ? would be
interesting ... live bass playing while the sequencer plays,
pattern change with a pedal :)

i have a bass but i had to stop playing it. it was a case of
when i listened to any song i'd automatically focus on the
bass rather than anything else which started to ruin the
enjoyment somewhat. i only pick it up occasionally now but i
still enjoy it when i do.

i play bass as well, but I really dont like it.

The only reason i am still playing, is cause its required
for school. I got one more semester of lessons on it, and
then im never touching it again.

I just hate practicing scales and arpeggios, and having to
read improv charts and play some shitty walking bass line on
a jazz tune, or a funk groove.

I dont know. Its just not my thing.

Im taking piano lessons starting january, and im looking
forward to that. Seems more up my ally, as a composer.

Anywho. had to vent. sorry.

it was the prospectus for MA Art and Design at St Martins
college of Art - the nearest thing to hand for lyrics at the
time
