Someone else mentioned this in another topic (can't
remember who) but it made me think these are a really good
way to get into artists u don't know.

"Back in the day" there were loads around, some really good
ones such as The Positiva Ambient Collection that still
sounds great today and Trance Europe Express Vol 1 which had
some great stuff on it...

Basically are there any new ones out, and if so which are
the best? Any recommendations?

aaawwwww......trance europe express, now you're taking me
back.. i feel all warm and tingly with all that nostalgia.
Remember the informative little books that came with the
series with the little moving picture on the top right of
each page? ah....happy days

A groundbreaking Album is Biosphere?s Substrata ! Get double
CD Edition : It comes with a Soundtrack to a russian Movie
from 1923. Sounds sick but it?s really cool.
The Lifeforms Album by Future Sound of London is also very
nice background Ambient.
When you like a bit dubby check out Pole Albums. They are
just named 1, 2 and 3. He?s a pioneer no doubt.

Doesn't have to be zero beats background music ambient, just
anything interesting in that general area.

Ghost in the shell... isn't that a Japanese manga type film?
I've heard good things of it.
