Saw this on the weekend but its a 1995 film by Hal Hartley.. a NY film maker. It´s fucking class!!!! 10-10... if ya like solid films, sick of crap, tried "Donny Darko" and other "weird" films and found they lacked something... loved "Mulholland Drive" then get this out for a bloody great movie.......

I kind of liked it but thought the ending was really bad. It was almost as if he was running of of patience and just wanted the film to end. It could hav ebeen so much better. I felt it ruined all the work he had put in before hand.

Pedro Amoldovar's "What Have I Done to Deserve This?" is the last film I watched. It is really very good if you are into films that are off the beaten track.

I thought the movie was kinda goofy...two two goons in bad hired suits meant to evoke a Syndicate was quite cheesy/silly/funny...
The Amateur is in no way suprior to Donnie Darko..but there's another movie by Hartley which IS..and I consider it to be one of the best ever Indie American movies...

you mean how to make links? if so it should be
"<" without the inverted commas ofcoarse where http starts..cut and paste the link
I know a bit confusing..but disregard most of the inverted commas except for the ones around http:/ address...you need those...
" a href="http://www.pagetolink.com" "
then ">"
then the text for linking eg "link" then "<" then "/a" then ">"

nah.. i thought "Darko..." was just a tad bit....... forced or something. If it wasn´t for the comedy element... which was quite good, it´s just another
identty crisis/teen angst, look-at-our-kids-today-and-how-we-treat-them kinda movie with a twist.. a good Twilight Zone at best. Also, it was set in the 80´s whose only purpose is to play some (good) "cool" 80´s tunes or lead to a present-time sequel......
.. Or am i totally fucking losing it?!!.....

Donnie Darko is not the most even movie no..but what I like about it is twisting and mangling genres it touches on..calling it just a teen movie..would be the same as say calling MullholandDrive just a thriller
