well the band's not too fond of popularity...so i wouldn't
DOUBT if it was true...but you're right there's gotta be
more proof
and i just read that whole, "the end is near" ppfft, didn't
say a thing =] haha

tool is at it's peak- you could say.
two years ago hardly anyone knew about them, now with
lateralus and apc's -mer de noms...everyone's a 'big fan'.
maynard's gotta hate that.

someone finds proof that they are breaking up and they get a
*slap*
=(...find proof that they're staying together and they get a
*hug*=)

I really fucking enjoyed Maynard's first band, Children of
the Anarchist Destiny (or something along the lines...)

he could barely sing, but there were acoustic-delayed drums
& some old skool casio keyboards :) shit you not my folks :)

Did you read that article on the official site that you
linked, Junktion? It just says the tour is almost over, not
that the band is breaking up. Plus, toolshed.down.net would
report it if something so drastic happened.

james har har and they cant even name a tool song or tell

no one just a general opinion. well it would suck for the
true fan if they broke up, its jsut getting annoying how
most new tool fans are posers. most people on the board are
probably genuine fans, so i guess i shouldve been more
specific

isn't enough backing it.
if someone finds solid evidence, we should start it again.

umm Laterlaus could possibly be their best album...anyways,
if the rumors are true, it was bound to happen soon or
later. i mean yeah its bad but in a way it would be good if
they broke up if you know what i mean. i doubt the reason
for them breaking up would ever have to do with aperfect
circle itd be more on because of strangesness of the scene
around them or the musical choices and directions.

offline titsworth from Washington, DC (United States) on 2002-11-26 16:17 [#00457447]

why even perpetuate this thread? it was started out of
someone reading the header "THE END IS NEAR" on tool's site
and not reading the blurb below about the end of their
current tour. tool show no signs of breaking up so what's
the big deal? don't be so gullible (this is to lots of ppl,
not any one person).

offline MachineofGod from the land of halo's (United States) on 2002-11-26 16:20 [#00457452]

it was started by refund who said a friend told him who was
at the concert, doesnt quite sound the same as the site
which someone else brought up after. but oh well
my rank:
laterlaus
Ænema
Salival
undertow
opiate

well it is an ep, doesnt mean its bad its just the least
good in my opinion, something had to be last.
