Got a short poem?

I was wondering if anyone here had a short poem they
wouldn't mind sharing with me. I'd like to take the words
from it and include them in a new piece of artwork I'm going
to make. you'd get full credit for the poem, that's no
problem with me. The darker the poem the better, something
personal and imaginative. if you're willing to do so, just
send it through e-mail (it's in my profile)

thanks :)

this is what is is so far.......dunno if it's actually
finished or if i'm going to add more to it.

Always remember, as the shadows blow their blackened scent
of roses across your soul I'll be there to sweep the blanket
of ashe from your nose and eyes so that you may breathe and
see your way again...

thats it so far...heheh....it may not be dark enough for
you.....but it's dark for MOI =0)

this poem is truth:

there are no gods, we are not here for a reason, we evolved
from single cell organisms, mutated by radiation into what
we are today.

I have an Irish Thanksgiving poem: ;)

Go fetch a turkey and some Irish whiskey.
Take a wee drink of whiskey.
Put the turkey in the oven.
Take two more wee drinks of whiskey.
Make shure oven is good and hot.
Take three more wee whiskeys of drink.
Make sure hot is still the oven.
Take four wee whisks of drinkey.
Go wee.
Turk the bastey.
Whiskey 'nother bottle of get.
Give the turkey a dink of wilkey.
Glass yourself a pour of whiskey.
Bake the whiskey for four hours.
Take the oven out of the turkey.
Floor the turkey up off of the pick.
Turk the carvey.
Get yourshelf another wottle of biskey.
Set the trimble and pour self a glass of turkey.
Bless the saying, pass and eat out.

Bless one us and all. Holly Happidays.

it's funny, when you toss something out there that you never
have before, you want people to at least say they liked it,
or appreciate it.

When they don't, you feel like you failed.

Fuck that, I like what I wrote, i hope some of you enjoyed
it. (hug: DaWeeze)

not really, just a general comment

DaWeeze mentioned how no one replied, and same with mine.

Some feel like they require validation for their work. I
say fuck it, I hope you enjoyed mine. Comments not
required, * they are encouraged however :)*

Writing poems that don't rhyme is like making music with a
computer. No challenge.

some really good stuff in here. i've finished the first
picture... decided to do a short series of them, since
there's been a couple good 'poems' posted. although,
BlatantEcho, i don't think i'm gonna use yours. i just was
looking for something original, yours was a nice quote and
all, but you didn't come up with it. unless you're "Timothy
Grover" and i didn't know
