as i mentioned here a few times im doing a world tour with two friends at the end of 2003. im actually building the web site for the tour, and we want to upgrade it during the tour. now im working on a sony portable, but we wont take it with us to travel, too much weight and were pretty sure to get stolen. there comes my question : what do you think is the best machine to do that? some satelite palm or i-pod ?? what will be out within a year? :) |

...there are many solutions depending on whether you want use GPS or not (so we can track you down wherever you are...) :) GSM is mandatory tho - this would be the only way you could transfer your data (wireless) unless you decide to visit internet cafés... |

weve think about that, but that will be a giant problem like in certain african cities or so, cyber cafés are not everywhere, and we dont want to lose time searching them all the way through :) so yes GPS will be the solution imo thanx again |

yeah GSM is the solution - even tho you need a triple band cell phone. make sure to check out the specs before you buy one. |

well ok so we will start end 2003 from switzerland to : spain, greece, africa (quite everywhere we can in africa), then south america, australia, and the asiatic continent to finish...then well be back in europe! thats a big project, were planing it on three or four years we dont know exactly... well try in every region to see interesting people, artists,... and try convince them to put some art on the site, as we will do : drawings and videos on the people, architecture, animals and landscapes! :) |
