experience and panache!

You Britons sure have an early bedtime... if you stay up too
late do Tony Blair's badboy detector vans pick you up?

Right now I'm a master control operator, which means I cue
up tapes and monitor the on-air signal for a local TV
station. It's a cool job. Boring at times, but whatever.

When i'm not at school, I work at Au Bon Pain, a chain of
sandwich shops/bakeries based in Boston.

Having a job is great. You can obtain money thereby which is
useful for procuring goods and services.

When you have a job slack free time is slacker and freer.
Beer is sweeter. Food is tastier. Music is louder. Sleep is
sleepier. I do recommend it.

power company to build PCs and surf the net.

I work at the telecom/network office at my school.

Basically I help my boss install phone/internet jacks, and
wire them into the server etc... but he is teaching me how
to do it, so someday I might be able to do it myself,
instead of just assisting him.

But not alot happens... so alot of the times I just surf the
net, waiting for someone to call about a broken jack, or
needing a new jack.

And sometimes I do some office work, like tallying numbers.

But basically, its an easy as fuck job. And they are really
cool about letting me leave early if there is nothing to do,
or if i have somewhere to be.

:)

Incorrect. RJ45 is the connector. CAT5 is the cable. I just
call it ethernet 'cause no one uses coax anymore.

I have two jobs. One job I have is working at a Harry and
David store (various fruits, and candies, dips, chips, all
kinds of food). I am the person in charge of handling
merchandise that comes in from corperate. Organizing it, and
loading it in the stock room. Its kinda fun, you get big and
get some muscels doing it, from using the loader, and from
the lifting (lift from your back always people, I have a
lifting belt and most of the boxes are under 20 pounds..). I
get to tell people off sometimes: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY
STOCK ROOM!!!!!!!" or "DONT ASK ME QUESTIONS! I AM TOO BUSY
FOR THAT NOW!", hahaha, which is funny, cause I am a totally
shy and quite person, but I have a big bark! haha. The
people I work with are soo nice though, and I always get
free food. Try some harry and david pears... its heavenly.
My second job is designing flyers for resteraunts, sometimes
websites and other graphic arts projects... both jobs are
great. I am a happy boy, I cant complain about my life
anymore....

:*)

I have been doing it for about 9 month's now. Its allright,
as long as the people you work with are fun, and if your
boss is cool.

I always have a knack of working super mega hard to the
first month, to impress everyone, then I can go around and
do whatever I want... its like a gift I have or
something... just the other day I took a 2 hour break and
went to a friends house.... then came back, my boss asked
where I was... I said: I fell down...

and she was like.... HAHAHA, funny.... then walked away... I
got a raise like 2 weeks after that... HAHAHA

anyone have posses this gift here? being able to do whatever
you want on the job... the worst I have done... when I had
my pizza delivery job, I didnt show up for work for two
days, then came back and said " I didnt feel like
working...", and then I deleverd I pizza on the same day I
came back, and the guy who i deleverd to was a total arse,
and said that he didnt want it anymore.... so I ate both
pizza's and drank the the 2 liter sprite... hahahha (free of
charge), and I still kept the job for like a year after that
in highschool (which some raises)... hahaha

anyone else have this gift or talent here?
