I sprayed stuff on it (not good idea). But every time I adjust the setting it's a major smell zone. Fucking reeeeeks.

Don't heaters normally stink when they're new? I thought it was something to do with the oxide of the metal on the heating element being burnt off or something, not that I'm a chemist...
