my zip file of images is rougly 4mb, is it alright to send
that large a file to your e-mail account? i know a lot of
them have limits, so I'm just checking to make sure...

bouncing back

sure, email it to titsworth@graffiti.net, plenty of space
there.

a couple questions..
1. if the files are really big (250k+ for a file, for
example) do you mind if i make them smaller? i'll only do so
with your permission. i don't want to include graphics that
are over 300k cos of modem users and cos i have limited
space available.
2. assuming you're sending more than 10, can you pick which
you want to include in the next release? the rest will be
held over till #11, unless you prefer not to have them put
out at all (ie: you just want to show me). either way, i
really like seeing people's art, even when they don't feel
like submitting it for phux necessarily.

thanks again :)

1. the biggest file is like 50kb, so I don't think there'll
be any trouble with that. if you still need to compress any
of them, feel free to

2. honestly, whichever you want to include in the pack out
of the 17 or so I sent will be just fine. i basically just
picked out my "best" and sent them, so any of those you
include will be great

3. you're welcome, i'm glad to contribute to something like
this, and hopefully i'll have some new stuff for the next
release as well!

excellent

hey, how do you feel about "themed" releases? 2 years ago i
had planned #10 (the current pack) to be "the parody pack",
where artists would do new art in the style of either other
phux artists or other artists in history (whether respected
painters or cartoonists).

woops, I was looking at the file-size wrong, some of them
are a bit large. so yes, if you need to compress them,
that's no problem at all

hmm not sure about that, I mean I don't think I could parody
someone else, because I just sort of have my own style...
and truth be told, I'm probably not 'good enough' to imitate
anyone else. but if the theme were something like "childhood
memories" or some such, that'd be cool

yea there are other themes too, that's just an example

the parody pack wasn't going to be really professional, just
something for fun.. most of the artists on phux have (or
had) really distinctive styles, so it would have been
interesting
