i've been fishing around on old compilation tapes and i
found this amazing trancey / techno sorta track, but i have
no idea who or what it is

the lyrics to the chorus are:

and i said hey hey
we couldn't carry on this way
don't fight it hey hey
we couldn't carry on this way

then later they change to

and i said hey hey
you've got to give yourself some space
don't fight it hey hey
you just can't live for yesterday

the track was recorded from radio in june 1996 and the voice
sounds a little like jon marsh of the beloved

but the track is trancey / techno sorta as i said, and i
guess it could be a remix of something

i could try to decipher the lyrics to the 2 verses on
request if anyone has any idea at all what it could be

its weird enough a track like this has any lyrics at all. to
give you a clue what type of music it is the next track is
pearls girl (carp dreams... koi) by underworld, so its
around that time.

please help!

thought it was a bit of a stab in the dark, oh well :o/

there's loads more other music on these tapes i absouletely
no idea who the arstists are. another one sounds like lamb.
maybe.

if i listen to the radio (for music) i only ever listen to
radio 1 & classic fm now so if i do hear anything i like at
least i can track it down on the net the next day
