Do you have official releases on cassettes (ie Aphex Twin,
Autechre, etc)?

If "hell yeah", please let me know! Thanks.

only this one tape I sometimes tape over with new material
for my car. It's been stuck on future sound of london's dead
cities so long I pretty much hate that album now.

Why are you after tape Phobia? is there stuff you can get on
tape and not cd/vinyl?

Oh I also have this really cool compliation I got at a
festival called "trance to chill out vol.1" (isn't really
trance at all) features exquisite corpse, aphex twin,
psychic warroirs of gaia, irresistable force, cabaret
voltaire etc.

Actually does anyone remember the Psychic warriors of Gaia?

Yes, but cassettes are pretty hard find, compared to vinyls
and cd's. There are some cassettes out there from various
artists which we're missing for Xltronic. Hopefully we can
cover them all with full scans... even if it takes months to
hunt them down...

i've got an Aphex Twin cassette! My russian friend bought it
to me when he was in St. Petersburg, although 90% tells me
it's a bootleg recording.

it's a very plain cover where it says: Aphex Twin - Selected
Ambient Works VOl. 11. Category: Deep Ambient.

No pics or anything.

Consumer audio cassettes suck hard. I'm glad that format is
dead. Bad analog quality, tape wear, magnetic data loss,
linear-format (rewinding, FF, etc).

So, in answer to your question, no.

I didn't appreciate cassette tapes til they were obsolete..
now I love them and collect them almost as much as CDs .. of
course you have to get them second hand if you want the good
ones nowadays...

hehe...I once listened to SAWI for an entire year on my
walkman....nothing else at all....

(was chatting with the other half recently about
walkmans....from about 15 onwards I was a tape junkie;
seldom seem without headphones...think I must have got thru
about 10 of em)...

Always used to dream of a box that could hold all my
music...with Ipods and the like that little dream has come
true...yay!....wish I could afford one tho ...:)...

Speaking of Orbital, I found both Orbital Green Album and
Diversions in the parking lot to a gas station. What are
the chances of that?
