I think I've posted on this before but I'm wondering if anyone knew might have info.
I'm wondering what they use. here is what I know/or think I know. They use nord lead 2 They most likely use supercolider software for mac as aphex twin uses
I have heard rumor that they have used the electribe es-1 before.
they use alesis mmt8 and I can only assume they use alot of the original roland tr*** and tb*** gear.
what else do we know? comment on what I think I know?

I'm told alot of those groups use native instruments plug ins. which I have used and I have to say if they don't use them they are fools, that software is amazing.

that last one was a damn good article. It makes me jealous that they have modified software and hardware though. The most I can do is cross wires in childrens toys but doing that is really blind and the results are varied.

For me the most interesting thing is that you can make something different from your hardware machines if only try to modify its os, like they do (ensoniq asr-10/eps-16+).

But according to that article they use a modified version of logic. Not max. But I mean I'm sure max is cool. I've always wanted to try getting a mac and supercollider.

No, they use max and a ton of outboard effects and compressors. I know this for a fact because when they were here in Minneapolis, my friend spent the entire day with them and all they talked about is max/msp and such. also, they have released 1 max patch to date. Its a patch that plays graphics along with music for sorta interactive visuals.
