Has anyone heard the new single Qtio by Brothomstates on
Warp yet?

It is quite good and i should own it soon.
.. if my damned indie store ever gets it.

I strongly suggest you check it out. Those Europeans hand
our ass to us when it comes to electronica.... :)

hmmm.... i know last month was the UI compilation....

i think it is either the Mu-ziq "Tango n' Vectif" re-issue
or the new Bogdan album.... or is that already out?

Bogdan does a song with Bjork on her new album, Vespertine.
Did you people know that she listens to Eno and Cylob?

brothomstates is/are very cool

i hope cylob gets it together and puts out that cd he told
me about. he said was putting the finishing touches on a
single too. i wonder when we can expect that.

I've actually listened to Claro this morning, and, if not
totally original, it is still really good. Watch out for it!

Brothomstates (Dune/ Orange) used to be my favourite back
when he was doing music in the demo scene. He did a lot of
stuff inspired by RDJ, and even one or two covers in
XM-format. Try www.hornet.org and download a few old Orange
demos.

im having a bitch of a time trying to figure out what bogdan
did on vespertine, i know he programmed something here or
there, but i cant find his name in the liner notes..organ,
bjork likes tons of stuff..aphex twin, oval, matmos, and a
bunch of other electronic stuff :)

If you can't find Bogdan credited anywhere, it is because
the tracks she did with him were not used on Vespertine (one
hell of a fine record btw). Perhaps they'll be released
separatly someday!...
