Why do so many websites have this amazing flash stuff going
on but no rreal info and no smarrt way to navigate yourr way
arround. Forr example Kraftwerk.com. It pisses me off big
time. If they arre going to go to the efforrt they maze well
put some decent info on therre.

There seems to be some competition gonig on I guess
I think functionality is more important than looks.
I prefer a plain black-and-white html page with a fast
interface etc.. instead of such a flash thing that's a pain
in the ass to search something on.

http://C738.myweb.nl (if it still works)
is my site, I built it using flash.

flash impresses, do people want content, or WOW factor.

Obviously current websites say wow.

the best webpages are simple, imo

I fucking hate Flash and Shockwave sites. I like Flash
movies and whatnot, but for navigating, fuck off (most of
the time). There was this one site, by the label that has
Legofeet, it's just totally pathetic, all style and no
substance. Couldn't figure out what the hell was going on.

Warp's site is well done, tholugh! But for every well
designed site, there's 10 that are overdone.

People want all these... flashy... effects...
And you could make such a nice and compact site with it.

:(

flash should help you navigate the site, not be something in
itself, unless it is just forr arrt purrposes.

A web designer who uses a flash intro without a "Skip Intro"
link deserves to be publicly flogged.
