i know some of you might think me lame, but I saw the video to Coldcut & Hexstaic "Timber" years ago, and recently got hold of it from that ftp site that's been floating around here I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if their stuff is similar to Timber? fucking LOVE the chainsaw Thanks Oscillik |

Do you mean ours/coldcut's/hexstatic's stuff is similair? The chainsaw is good, I used to keep looping that beat in my head when doing manual labour, especially when clearing branches or trees ;) Coldcuts stuff isn't very similair (still good though, politcally it is on similair lines...) , hexstatic is again not very similair although a bit more like it. Mine is nothing like it (sadly). Fun fact: The chainsaw sample (obvioulsly it was cut up a bit...) is from a greenpeace video on deforrestation. |

i've recorded the chainsaw part on my Nokia 6310i it's got a voice record function, and i can play it back whilst in a call too love to piss people off by looping it in a phone call heh |
