Play that song! The Celtic Frost version, from Into the
Pandemonium. Hell, play the whole album, Baudelaire and all.

to listen to the Tits Show, and it's working for me for the
first time in weeks! Score!

Gods of black metal Celtic Frost did a cover of Mexican
Radio on their last good album, the really bizarre and
eclectic Into the Pandemonium. It's a fucking strange album,
with a chick reading Baudelaire over moody orchestral music,
some sampled/industrial sounding stuff, and of course that
Wall of Voodoo song. And some crunchy metal.

After that they made the unforgivable mistake of going
>wince< glam.

www.mcpaulbarman.com for all the lyrics

fleetmouse: i'll check it out. i like death metal (tho i'm
not a listener really) and the original song. and that does
sound interesting...

i'm such a liar, telling the snitching ass dj's that i
played the clean versions... sadly i have to say that cos
next time i get in trouble w/ the station over language
(despite the fact that the FCC allows it after 10pm) i
receive some kind of penalty

I think a certain DJ needs a certain beatdown...

Was that DJ before or after your show?

Their earlier album, To Mega Therion, is a classic, much
more influential to the genre than Pandemonium. And it still
sounds fresh. Download Necromantical Screams if you can find
it somewhere.

station manager that you smelled something funny when you
walked by ;x

i don't think he is anymore cos he's heard some more
explicit songs and i haven't been notified by the station...

lovage "lies and alibis" was the instrumental with the flute
:)

guys, i can't play peaches. i press my luck enough as it is
with hip-hop songs that drop the occasional curse, i'd lose
my show if i played "fuck the pain away."

cee-lo.. didn't he do "wish i was a little bit taller"?!
couldn't be, totally diff voice. i lost my copy of aquemini
long ago, didn't even recognize that one, probable 'cause i
only caught the end. i'll have to get it again someday;
really good as i remember. i love that track with the
smooth horns, can't remember the name. twas the soundtrack
to a memorable summer of my life. much nostalgia when i
hear.
