This band is one of my favorites right now... They aren't
big in the US... the only time they got real play was in an
anti-drug commercial where Mondo 77' was used. They are so
good.

I know them.
I like their video for "who's afraid of y2k" ,but the music
is not really my cup of tea.

I have 3 EPs and an album by Looper. I bought the Ballad of
Ray Suzuki cos I like Belle and Sebastian. Then I bought the
others hoping that they would get better. Then I realised
that they weren't. Then I stopped :)

Mondo77 is just the best paty-song ever! But it's the only
song I've heard. Isn't it a bit different from the rest of
the stuff?

Looper is pretty cool, but their newest album "The Snare" is
a pile of shit. I downloaded it and deleted it in 5 minutes.

Any other "mondo77"-sounding tracks?

No other tracks sound like mondo 77...

Some really REALLY good tracks to listen to are: "These
Things" and "Flipside"
