Saw Coldplay last night in Munich with Idlewild
supporting.
The strange thing was, when Idlewild took to the stage what
was playing at full volume through the speakers? Avril 14th!
Pity Idlewild were rather predictable and boring.

Coldplay were excellent though and copied U2's idea of
having camera's on all four members throughout the concert,
with each being projected onto a different black cloth at
the back of the stage and also onto a giant semi-circle
hanging 20m in front of the stage from the ceiling. I don't
think I've ever seen such perfect visuals at a concert
before. Every part of every song was displayed in some sort
of light effect and it really enhanced the music, not that
it's not brilliant already.

Chris Martin actually managed to speak German every time he
said something to the crowd. Apart from once when he tried
to say something about the people at the back of the hall.
he totally fucked it up and EVERYONE laughed. He calmed
everyone down and earned their respect again though when he
said, in perfect German: "Ich hoffe ihr seid der Meinung,
dass wir vier besser sind als David Hasselhof."

If you like Coldplay at all and they're coming near your
town, you don't need to think twice, just GO!

Hey Patrik and others,

A few months ago I made a video to one of Coldplay's songs
from Parachutes. It's online at my website
(www.zapruderfilms.com) if you want to check it out.
Cheers!

Here's the direct link to the page:

I'm a fan of Coldplay, but perhaps we are some of the few on
this board who are. Oh well.
