New songs online!

A friend of mine has three new tracks online. He is from
Russia, now living in London. He is classically trained and
his piano-style goes slightly in this direction. His singing
is more based on european white soul music.
But enough of words now, just have a listen:

Czar Valentin - Sword

Czar Valentin - In My Garden

Czar Valentin - Home

Please let me know if you like it or not!

Thanks!

Do the links not work or what is the problem?

I like "Home", it's crazy cabaret style. Thumbs up! People,
download this one, it's fun!

The other two songs could use more focus and polishing. I
think I get what he's trying to do with the over-the-top
flourishes and emotionalism but it needs more focus.

His command of the piano--and his voice--is impressive.

Totally not what I was expecting! No stolen Aphex-ish beats
to be found, wow. I dig it.

ha ha fleetmouse..

no, what I meant was, within the boundaries of his
theatrical approach to music, he sounds like he's trying to
hard. you can be theatrical and over the top with it
sounding kind of natural. this doesn't. this sounds like
"I WANT TO SOUND THEATRICALLLL" to me.

Yeah, he could afford to lay back a bit.
