to all music makers here:

where do you find the inspiration to make your tracks? a
lot of the ones i've heard sound like they could have some
real meaning.

if J-HOK really is Global Goon, i'd love if you posted here
too, cuz some of your stuff really means something to me,
and i'd like to know how much it means to you...

my moods are my inspiration.. kind of hard to explain, but
just from feeling a certain way will lead me into creating a
certain kind of song, or sometimes just audio experiments

Normally walking home to my apartment - just the sounds of
the city.

sounds themselves. grab a sample, start manipulating it and
just listen.

it works in steps that way, for me.

great stuff. i'll use that idea for inspiration sometime,
cuz i will finally try and get my ass into making some
choons. i just need the inspiration, thats all. hehe

oh, by the way. i recorded the 20 second intro at the
beginning of the tigerbeat6 site last night, and i'm working
at putting it together into a more full song, and i'll add
to it, and take away from it if i have the time.

could anyone tell me what that song is, if they've heard it?
Ctrl Alt Del figures it's Kid606. but i don't want to go
thru all his stuff for one song.

it'll be funny to hear the original after you've completed
your remix.. be sure to submit it to tigerbeat6 via email
and tell them what you just said

From everything... but the most inspiration I get is from
walking around outside and talking to new people, the next
biggest inspiration I get is from other music makers.

yeah, that really works. I think what most people forget
about is the sounds themselves - they jump to quickly to
thinking about structures ("oh I want a full track" etc
etc). sound itself is the startingpoint. :)

I thought Global Goon was meant to be from Liverpool...and
that isn't Lancashire, it's Merseyside.
