Mmm, cheesy 80's keyboards... what are some good synth pop
groups/artists, past and present? New Order stands out
obviously, I've been listening to Power, Corruption and Lies
all morning. Deadsy is kind of cool in a hokey way...

Haha, that was just asking for it... my balls itch, too, you
don't see me complaining... just reach down when nobody's
looking.

Now give me some synth pop.

I just looked at Allmusic.com, they don't seem like a synth
group... maybe you're thinking of Flock of Seagulls?

For maximum enjoyment, grab the hair gel and slip into a
comfortable pair of Bugle Boys.

oh yeah this is my kind o stuff

depeche mode, erasure (up until the wild! album), new order
(goes w/o saying), bronski beat & dead or alive (one of my
personal favourite) all still get played every now and again
on my stereo. where oh where would we be without these
groups? i'm sure they influenced a lot of the new
electronica artists even if theyre afraid to admit it.

it was never trendy in the 80s to like any of these groups,
but i loved them all the same.

'Cars' is one of Gary Numan's weakest songs though the
record it's off of is probably his best --Try downloading
'The Pleasure Principal'. 'Telekon' is also very good.

earthleakage was right on.. Erasure! Awesome stuff. 'Wild!'
is actually my favorite, but 'the Innocents' is the one
everybody likes. Everything they make is chessy. As fer
Vince Clarke, early Depeche Mode and posibly Yaz/Yazoo,
though Alison Moyet is unbearably annoying..

Replicas, Pleasure Principle and Telekon, remastered with
bonus tracks. Mmmmm.
