Good timing misterr prresley, that's playing right now. Wow I had forgotten how good this album is. I only had it on a crusty old cassette. I still think there's too much reverb though compared to Surfer Rosa. Makes the sound less immediate. |

Most Pixies makes me jump. What makes them different I think, different than most other bands who are not the greatest virtuosos (I hesitate to call them anti-musicians), is that they played their asses off. I really like Pavement but Slanted and Enchanted could have been so much better if they gave a bit more of a shit. Their live set with those songs on the rerelease are fantastic. Play with gusto. For comes the long night in which there shall be no gusto. |

i used to love the pixies, but now its like, ehhh i dunno. definately dont like as much now, still good but theyres so much better stuff out there. |

I love the pixies.. when I was 16, I bought Surfer Rosa + Come on Pilgrim that summer and that was the only cd I listened to that summer (weelllll.. okay, also "siamese dream"..).. prithee my dear why are we here.. |
