worst song ever

Ophecks' latest post gave me an idearrr..
What's the worst song *ever*.. either in terms of worst
quality, most dislike, personal taste, most offesively bad,
tasteless, etc.
My vote: Can't Get You Out of My Blue Monday .. the original
was bad enough but bastardizing a synthpop classic by
throwing this piece of garbage on top of it only to create
an adulterized dissonant 'remix' was inexcusable.. simply a
musical travesty.

I didn't appreciate that dig at New Order just because he
has a problem with Kylie Minogue.

err.. I love New Order.. that was entirely my point: the
bastardization of New Order's classic because of the
horrible Kylie Minogue song was my complaint. sorry for the
misunderstanding...

Actually I should apologize. I have on my lower prescription
glasses. I thought you were saying that the original Blue
Monday
was "bad enough", but he meant the original
Can't Get You Out Of My Head, my bad. Didn't catch
that part about him calling Blue Monday a classic..

the background music to my life would probably rival the
worst songs in existence.

It'd totally be all atonal weird improv jazz stuff with out
of tune singing with words like "uhh uhhhh uuuueueueeuh
HOWLONGDOESITTAKETOCOOKACHICKEN"
as long as they do a good jeorb it's ok.

I think the worst to my ears would be 'What shall we do with
a drunken sailor' by Cylob. I mean, The rest of that EP is
great but that last track is so embarrassing.

Drop the b-side, Cut the shit.

"Drop the b-side, Cut the shit.

LOL @ Spikee :)

No music really enrages me with its awfulness like it used
to, but I don't know, probably something by take that.

DJ Alligator - The whistle song

This song is so bad, I dont even know why shit like this
gets a commercial release.

Also add, all those aweful Rave / happy Hardcore songs, from
the early nineties

offline DJ Xammax from not America on 2002-11-06 09:39 [#00430251]

I'm going with Monoid here, The Whistle Song is absolute
dong. As is The Logical Song by Scooter, can't remember who
did the original, but anyone who yells 'Hallelujah!' in a
song that is NOT a hymn deserves death by any means
necessary, by which I mean hanging.

Can't think of any others right now, there just so many!

Shit, yes, that's it! I posted that on a topic here before.
When I said how crap and simple it is to my ex she said,
well, why don't you make music like that... Grrr!

Xammax: It was Supertramp that did the original and that was
pretty good. Scooter murdered it.

Hey lay off!

The new Madonna song is unlistenable, shoots straight into
the Top 10 of my charts. Okay not that bad, because the
music is alright, but her voice and the lyrics makes me
wanna shit.

I wasn't joking. I love HP man, but only the spicy barbeque
stuff, brightens up bland chips a treat. I don't really want
to dig deep into Scooter, to put it a simpler way, I
wouldn't go diving for gold if there was shit floating on
the surface.
