whats berklee like? for the synth and composition departments do you guys use max/msp and protools and such? are there places to play live? students cool? im thinking of applying there. |

Berklee not Berkely its in boston, and a music school. rarn: yeah, we use all sorts of stuff. check out berklee.edu, and the majors section. you can veiw the course requirments for each major. there are many places to play live... if you play acoustic music. there are several places for IDM, which im looking into getting some gigs soon (gotta get my laptop first though). the students are pretty cool. there are some tools... but once you get into your synth classes, youll meet alot more cool people. go for it man! let me know too! we can chill! |

yeah, its required for you to take lessons on your instruments im doing Synth, and Film Scoring... but im also goin to try to fit in composition, because composition and film scoring share alot of classes, so its only like 6 or so extra classes ill have to take. so in effect, itll be a triple major shiiiit hehe |

electric bass but luckily ill be finished with my required classes for it, by then end of this year. i just dont really enjoy it. i much rather write, and do synth stuff. |

nope. i used to be but i dropped out a year ago. way too much stress and it ate my enjoying of creating. now im doing my last high school courses so i can go to university. also i'm doing this art diploma right now. the problem is, there is so many interesting choices to study in uni. i really can't decide. |
