he was one of the god fathers of hip hop, if it werent for run dmc and jam master jay, hip hop wouldnt be here.... its really awful that this happened to such a good person. I heard him on Power 106 a while ago, he stayed on the show for 2 hours hanging out spinning for people... taking requests, a real true origionator and inspiration for everybody. I hope that man who shot him gets whats coming to him... |

indeed, it shoulda been RUN. that guy's a twerp. like DMC, JMJ was such a nice guy and so important to dj'ing and hip-hop. he IS one of the main reasons hip-hop has blossomed not only commercially but artistically. in other news, goodie mob broke up.. but i guess that shouldn't have been a surprise, and if they weren't going to go back to their less commercial/contrived style then i guess it's for the best. |
