how can 2 swordsmen be alone when there's 2 of them?

used to listen to it a lot 3 years ago while getting stoned,
great stuff.

listening to tiny reminders vinyl no#2 (yre, mi) at the
moment actually. v nice.

flight path fifth mission (not on warp) has some killer
tracks too, plus quite a few boring tracks though.

good question earthleakage. ever seen the film airheads
where the band's called "The Lone Rangers" and that guy from
MTV News is giving a broadcast and then after the cut he
says: "How can there be more than one lone ranger?"

alone together? surely an oxymoron

Only know the song on WAP100 (We are reasonable people).....
IMO, their track is one of the two crappy tracks on the
album (the other one is from Mira Calix)

About time someone besides me have mentioned these 2 guys.
I love them personally, Tiny Reminders was a terrific
album.

And if you have access, d/l their song off the Future Pilot
A.K.A compilation. The song rules!

hey dont forget me..I nominated Tiny Reminders as one of the
best IDM albums evers....
Everything they do I love...hugely, criminally
underrated..they have got the complete IDM package going
on..experimentation, wigged out grooves, glicthy madness,
melodies the works...

Try and find if you can their remix of the song "Deep Down
and Dirty" by Stereo MC's....the best Click Techno Track
ever...also their remixes of Red Snapper stuff is quite
tasty...

for those who havent got it I also highly recommend "A BAG
OF BLUE SPARKS" EP..it's excellent stuff...I know I resisted
getting it because It got descibed as left overs from Stay
Down by some ignorant reviewer..were they ever wrong...it's
mostly Funky, Dark and Bubbling Electro....even includes the
only known foray by 2LS into drill'n'bass "Black
Commandments Parts I and II"..which is soo good makes you
wish they did more...

the second half of 'tiny reminders' is really good.
and almost all of 'stay down'.
'a virus' is nice sometimes.
got to get 'a bag of' and 'haunted dancehall'.
which one better?

Sabres of Paradise - Smokebelch II
is an absolute monster of a tune, beautiful.

Sabres and 2 lone have made some great tunes, got quite a
bit of early vynil, and there tune on Spirit of Vampiros
Lesbos is ggreat.

I have the David Holmes remix of Smokebelch II. Its
brilliant.

Hey Flea, have you got their remix of Six By Seven's 'Eat
Junk Become Junk'? Its amazing.

Where can Iget their remixes of Red Snapper. Heard a remix
of one of their tracks recently that was amazing and could
well have been 2LS.

I used to listen to their "Slow your Circulation" 2 hour set
on warp radio whilst doing java programming last year.
Certainly helped make it half way bearable. I haven't heard
any of their other stuff though...

no havent heard..Eat Junk I will dig it up..
okay for the Red Snapper remixes..I have got..

Some Kind of Kink..Two Lone Swordsmen Mix..on the some kind
of kink single

The Bogeyman Single has a David Holmes remix as well as

Bogeyman (Two Lone Swordsmen 5 day wonder mix)
Bogeyman (Two Lone Swordsmen Blue Jam Cologne Mix)

Phunqie..get both the Haunted Dancehall and A Bag of Blue
Sparks if you can..both are quite different..and well worth
the investment..as the name suggests Huanted Danchall is
Dubby, HipHopy and contains songs like Wilmot, Theme and Tow
Truck..all established classics...find my description of Bag
of Blue Sparks elsewhere on this thread...

okay just heard the original and the remix...typical almost
total disregard for the source material was displayed with
relish in this remix:)..also very kick arse:)

if you dug this track I highly recommend the "Some Kind Of
Kink"..remix as well as the "Deep Down and Dirty"
remix..where at least a semblance of the original's vocal
and guitar part remain even as the rest is utterly destroyed
and reconstructed:)

Thought you'd like it. The new Beth Orton single has a Two
Lone Swordsmen remix so keep your eyes peeled mate.

I think I have that remix on 12". Will check 7 play if i
have it.

You heard any Radioactive Man?

okay reheard it..the rhytms guitar has survived on the Eat
Junk remix..although totally mutated..heh..I think a pattern
to their method emerges:)

The last thing Andrew Weatherall's I got was the Hypercity
Forcetracks..a total change of pace..very pleasent and
almost gentle collection of click techno/house...very
comparable to Richie Hawtin's DE9
