What was so scary about this movie?
I saw it yesterday, and was kinda disapointed because well,
I thought it was a really cool movie and all, really unique
but maybe since it had been swallowed up in so many
punchlines and jokes that when I saw it I was like, "This is
teh fucking stupidness". But anyways, opinions on this
movie?

Good, I saw it when it first came out. The second one is
incredibly underated. A lot scarier than the first IMO as
it's more about hysteria than the paranormal and hence more
believable.

i liked how it wasn't just the witch thingy, it was how all
three of them finally started to turn against each other and
they just started slowly losing they're minds. until finally
the one dude just throws the map away and all of them lose
it.

I personally LOVED the first one, I felt like I was there.
Being lost in the woods is something I want to have happen
to me. Minus the dying part. I love being scared out of my
mind.

Yes. First good. Haven't seen the second but it looks
slightly 'Phwoar!'-grade cheesey. I sort of like being
scared out of mind but,uh, only when I know I can make it
stop whenever I want. :)

I thought the first one was much scarier than The Exorcist
and shit like that. I never saw the second.

the first one was EXTREMELY scary when i saw, since tha hype
had not arrived in finland yet and i had a warez copy of it
and my friends told me it was really really real. when the
end titles came i felt a bit silly.

Haha, really? I REALLY would have been scared shitless if I
thought it was real... it's pretty convincing, too bad I
went into the theatre knowing it was fake... would have been
amazingly cool if I somehow didn't know.

I saw the movie without knowing that its fake. Two of my
cousins took me to see it and both knew it was fake. They
said that I looked like a "bitch" - more or less concern and
scared cause I do go camping a lot so that freaked me out.

I ended up going on opening night when it first came out,
heh, my brother hands me about 2 grams of mushrooms before
stepping into the lobby...

to say the least... the movie scared me alot, I mean, I
thought it was all real. Very intense stuff.

the second was good, It was freaky too but not as freaky as
the first.

Hollywood blows!

Except when it makes movies like Fight Club, then it's okay.

BWP was well boring and looked 95% fake -- the only bit I
enjoyed was the end scene
