"for followers of the planet mu label and venetian snares
in particular, this excellent debut album delivers an
excellent assembly of intricate electronic work with a
harrowing edge."

really?
anyone heard?

New project on Hymen offering a beautiful and flowing album,
glitchy and melodic, detailled but rather accessible. A
subtly crafted, thoughtful yet fast paced collection of
electronica.

i've never really frequented absorb, I ought to. It's
actually a very cool site.

SO, you didn't think much of the Spezialmaterial artists
then?

i've never heard anything from any of them, except a few
live performances, but i really suck at listening to live
music when it's never been heard in my bedroom before...

"science/fiction?s romantic depth makes it kin to the work
of aphex twin, atom heart, biosphere, dead hollywood
stars-and a dead-ringer for fans of unit?s sleeper classic
from
1999, the narcoleptic symphony. yet unlike those other
artists, end?s charles peirce, who has appeared previously
on planet mu and collaborated with snog and speedranch
(forthcoming on ipecac records), builds the dark post
industrial themes of science/fiction without the aid of
traditional synths and drum machines, relying exclusively on
samplers
and computer equipment."

i downloaded scorn's plan b yesterday. Very nice. Like
they've got access to all of Venetian Snares' samples but
MUCH less hectic. Really REALLY good though, think I'm gonna
have to buy this too.

Just ordered two Kool.POP records and the Smash Biotek 3xLP
from digitalworldnet.org/mailorder/stock.html
