 | I think it is so sad. They said 119 of the victims died just from the gas the police used to subdue the perpatrators.
That is so fucked up. The whole situation is fucked up.

 | The hostages we're probably weakened from lack of food/sleep/stress etc. I think the BBC article said that
the police couldn't get the antitdote to many of them in
 time.

 | just read an articale on it...
 insane...

but from each articale i read, there is inconsistancies.

It said there was like 700+ survivors...?!?! i read an
articale the other day that said there was only like 500
 hostages.

Does anyone know the real amount?

the articale did say that the hostages were weak, and thats
 why they died.

Its aweful, but on the other hand, it did save 700+
 apparently.

but i did read that several of the terrorists where shot and
killed, while unconcious from the gas...

 | from what I heard on the news just now.. they fukked pretty bad.. they used a double dosage - much much much more than
is needed.. secondly, the victims weren't given the antidote
at the theatre itself - that would've saved lives.. thirdly,
as you say, the hospitals didn't which gas it was so they
weren't prepared to help the victims..

russian authorities are saying its a great triump.. doesn't
 seem that way..

 | I know it was a type of nerve agent, that was developed as a chemical weapon to be used against enemy troops. It was
 supposed to be non-lethal.
