Who's familiar with this cartoon? I used to watch it after
school when I was knee high, and I remember it being
''more'' than most kid's shows... I found it really
depressing and dark back then for some reason, despite the
obvious cuteness, and I haven't seen it in well over a
decade. I'm downloading an episode right now, I can not
fucking wait...

Astroboy

Looking at this pictures, I recognize some of them, fucking
MASSIVE deja vu and nostalgia. The big metal guy, the orange
guy with his girl, the big nose doc, Astrogirl...

I am a slave to my own nostalgia lust.

roomate is reading it for his Japanese Culture class or
something. He seems to enjoy it, though i think it is more
of a classic, than it is moderly humorus.

Astroboy or Tetsuan Atom is a classic..yes it is quite
mature and adultish..Osamu Tezuka is a legend of Anime and
Manga..

It was one of his cartoons Simba the Lion that good ripped
off for the Lion King with as much as an acknowledgement
from the bastards at Disney..
