it just accured to me that if you write cap.iv into a computer speach program it will most likely make a somewhat T sound for the . and therefor the word will come out like "captive". from my experience anyway.
I used to think it was cap 4. roman numerals you know...

oh of course not, I think this is what they intended. normally any punctuation in speach programs are replaced with a sorta short white noise sound that in the middle of a work would sound like a T.
