I understand that people prefer vinyls - that's not a
problem but don't tell anybody it's because it sounds
better.

Vinyl has the best sound depth, even frequencies you can't
hear but your mind sill picks up. CD is binary bullshit.
Still like the format but turn an MP3 up and all you hear is
glooping digital noise. You have to fuck around with it way
too much. Vinyl is the format for me as it's a duplicate of
the actual sound made rather then binary.

I have Drukqs on audiophile vinyl and the depth of that man
is something else. The sound just feels much more realistic.
Turn it right up and you can hear and feel every little
detail.

Arrogant! I'll tell people what I wish because I believe it
to be true from my own experiences and after all it is my
opinion.

I as others do believe vinyl has the best sound. No biggie.

Clearly, you haven't heard the clarity in sound that is
captured on a third generation Maxell type 1 cassette tape.

Your right, I haven't.

"I as others do believe vinyl has the best sound"

I as others do believe vinyl Covers many more frequencies
than CD or MP3 and is best for myself down to personal
opinion. [Better? ^^]

Spikee I'm sorry to destroy you child dreams in this
beautiful morning but Vinyl has not greater sound depth
than any digital media.

The frequency range of a CD is 22kHz. That means that it
covers all the frequencies from 0 hertz to 22 000 Hz which
is beyond what any human being can hear . Concerning
the noise ; CD data is encoded on 16 bits. With usual
encoding errors hypothesis we have a 96dB signal to
noise ratio
which is greater than any audiophile
version 180 gr / 250 copies limited edition of any artist.

Now because it don't want to totally disagree with the
Dragon. What is true (and in order to increase the play
lenth of a vinyl ) - the vinyls are mastered with more
compression than CDs - it gives you the illusion of greater
sound depth but you are loosing in the domain of sound
resolution. And yes vinyls are beautiful and so cool to
collect.

Ok I want to be clear with what I mean by 'sounds better'.
For me it means sound closer from the studio. If it means
for your 'sounds louder' so you're right.
Note that you can make your CD sound as loud as your vinyl
with the appropriate compression device.

Child dreams? Where did that come into it? Dude, Do I fuck
you off or something? You always seem to act uppity when I
read what you type and not just to me.

I read what you say and I'll look into it or something. And
remember, Just because you can't hear something does not
mean it doesn't go into your brain. But whatever.

I don't argue with your 'brain waves' ; I just say that if
they are present in your magic vinyl they will be in your CD
too for obvious acoustic reasons.

now check this if you have 5 minutes ( click the myths
section ).

sloppy.

I'm sorry Dragon ; I really don't want you to take it bad
(that's not my intention) and if you read my previous posts
I'm not against vinyls but I fear that don't have
the necessary
technical background to understand what I said.
All those who know a little bit about signal processing and
psychoacoustic will tell you that the real audiophile media
is CD and that a correctly encoded MP3 will sound as good
as the original Wave PCM data. Now this is true for a human
ear and maybe your dragon ears can feel the difference with
more accuracy ?
