I got Gesängen der jungligen yesterday and i?ve never heard anything like it. I?ve never really gotten his works earlier, but i did now and i?m totally blown away.

It's a huge pity that geodesic opera house that was built especially for Stockhausen was never re-built...can't remember how many speakers it had but I bet the sound was amazing...would've liked to have experienced that....
...Wish I'd gone to that recent Barbican do now just to hear his compositions in situ so to speak....I'm not sure if stereo or Mp3 is really up to the job....
Aphex is our generations Stockhausen, I've always thought....
