British IDM Preset Fanfare (last track on 2370894) is the
greatest song ever composed by mankind.

I've gone off that CD already. I prefer Higgins but Doll
Doll Doll is still the best.

titsworth> have you heard it? The Isness.. its like, uhm,
ravi shankar/pop/dramatic/non electronic music.. i cant
really describe it but its quit diffrent and not very good
IMO...

i really haven't heard much by Venetian Snares. there is a
lot of hype about him here, yet i have only marginal
interest. on my 'new music to check out list' VS is sadly at
the very bottom...am i missing out?

depends on what you're after.
He is the new idm cool atm though.

It's all very agressive walls of breakbeats and stuff.
Difficult time signatures and weird sounds. Rarely any
tunes.

I used to think vs was teh dope but now I'm totally sick of
most of his stuff, just not musical enough. And all his
stuff is so samey.

It IS very good im just sick of it all.

heard it? i love it. i wrote an 1800 word essay about it for
a college course and got an A+ on it.

yeh the album kicks ass.... i dont know why some people keep
comparing VS to Aphex and AE etc. since they sound and are
composed almost nothing alike... but opinions are
opinions... i like VS .

i think the comparison is which artists are favorites, not
which do a genre better.

A friend of mine said she couldn't understand why I don't
like Goa music coz it sounds like Aphex Twin. I said she's
out of her mind, Goa is boring tripe which sounds the same
for hours on end and AFX does wicked complicated sounds. I
then said it was like saying The Doors are like The Beatles
cos they both played guitars and drums and had tunes with
lyrics and she gave me the weirdest look I've EVER seen,
like, EVER!
I think she understands why I don't like Goa now thank God.

I hate it when people can't get their heads around other
styles of music. I've had 'Aphex is just noise', the same as
what you just got and even 'Thats shit cuz it's not in the
charts and no one listens to them' (Them referring to the
twin) Real annoying shit.

I personally love Goa tho. I know what you mean about it
being similar for a long time but I smoke ganja and it
affects my mind in a positive way so y'know.

I'm sick of people looking at me strange but when you tell
them your a dragon I guess it's just what is gonna happen.
*chews his tail tip*
