called

Chubby Rain

here

http://www.zebox.com/knobject

I dont really know how to describe it because i havent made
or heard a track like it before..
the closest I can come to is maybe FSOL doing a Body Horror
Comedy Soundtrack..
but If you are the first to guess where the title was lifted
from would get the

FLEA'S INAUGURAL "YOU ARE AN EVEN MORE TRIVIAL BASTARD THAN
I AM" AWARD..

feedback would be great too :)

today was a shocker eh! :)

very cool track. definetly original. love the
spacious/complex etc. sounds (ie. the riff and all its
related permutations) ... the drums start off very cool
also, cool groove - perhaps it stagnates a little? dunno -
on the other hand it does provide a backbone to the walls of
the track.

thanks Korben..yeah the drums seem a bit pedantic but it was
kinda intentional..I am usually zipping flipping and
modulating drums while the rest tends to get a bit
static..here..it's the other way around..
yes trying new things as usual and always:)

mm. listening to it now.

like it. lacks something dynamically though, I would say.
but then again, I've only listened to it once..

really like the ending - I'm a sucker for disintegrating
endings..

style..no?

no.

whats wrong with going with a different style?

your style is whatever you are making at that time.. (mm,
that feels a bit like a Karate Kid line..)

I'm in the middle of listening to it now. When it started
playing I thought it was someone else's track playing by
mistake since it's unique compared to most of your other
stuff by focusing on melody... the beginning especially, it
was super wicked there.. I thought you made some humungous
polished overhaul in a new direction in the beginning, but
then the track started kinda lagging on.

Did I get the right track? On your page it said "Chubby
Rain", but the file seems to be called "Brujaboot"...
anyways, it conjured up warring Ice Cream trucks in the
Industrial Sector of town.. :) nice!

(BTW, I don't mean to suggest that it sounded "Industrial"
the 'genre')

thanks for the nice comments..guys
wMw..i am still learning to keep working on a melodic track
and not to have it lag

marlowe..I was having all kinds of problems saving the
file..I think it was overloading the machine...It has sound
fonts...and plugins..hence I saved and exported under
several names...brujaboot...as I had to reboot several
times..argh.. was the one that survived...

And no I quite dig your description...cool:)

Is it a reference to "Bowfinger", with Steve martin and
Eddie Murphy? I have this on video, and I thought it was
pretty funny, actually!

Chubby Rain was the name of the movie they were making:)

I apologize for my seeming recent repeated slight bashing,
but I'm merely doing the "constructive" part of my own
worthless critisism (I'm sure you realize this anyway). I
assure you, your stuff is very intriguing relative to most
other stuff in my own, again worthless, opinion (you realize
this too... hence this whole post was worthless).

that reminds of Chunk's tales in The Goonies - when he made
some fake-puke and poured it over the balcony and everyone
started puking... or even Stand By Me, with Lardass....

anyways, happy to see you've returned to normal

just like regular whales swim around in the water and have
to return to the air every once in awhile to breath, air
whales fly around in the sky and have to return to the water
every once in awhile to breath

hmm..that sounds like they basicaly work on the same
principle as my pet sea jaguars..maybe you intercepted the
sea jaguar semen sample I had sent off to the patent office
and infused it into a poor unsuspecting whale...
