W & G is fucking genius, plain and simple.

Chicken Run was funny cuz it had Mel Gibson in it, he played
a chicken.

I must say I enjoyed the one Wallace and Gromit video I
own.. but I didn not care for Chicken Run. Nick Park is a
genius and all.. but I found it to be too consciously
'funny' and 'cute' and.. I donno.. W&G is just better, more
charming, less pretentious, etc. And no, I'm not a Brit. :)

Chicken Run was ok but it never got funny or interesting
till the last 20 minutes. I think it was tailored for a more
worldwide audience.

I'll watch the W&G newie after Eastenders =oD

love how gromit 'blows up', especially how his gloves wobble
a bit after they've inflated.. :)

it was pretty good :D i love his stuff EXCEPT chicken run
which i haven't seen. but it looked dumb from the
commercial. the only part i liked was
"they're gonna kill themselves!"
"........ you wanna watch?"
"yeh, awright."

chicken run was especially funny to me becuase of all the
British bits

"has she gone on holiday?"

hehehe, i guess American kids eat that stuff up

Ice age was rad compared to chicken run - better gfx
quality, better ideas, better jokes (sorry I don't catch
"has she gone on holiday") - given they were made for the
same consumer target with approx. the same 'recipe' ( funny
animals behaving like humans ).

I don't think these thing are always created for money
making.

Ice Age looked like it was.

ha ha ha ha
you gullible little boy. No they don't want to make money
with it - if you ask them kindly they'll give you a free
copy and a candy. Come on. Do you know the budget for
advertising let's say on the BBC web site ? and now on TV ?
