what do you use youre third button on your mouse for?
I use mine for F5...nice when you surf the mb

how about altF4 for those annoying popups or CtrlAltDel for windows. im currently only on 2 buttons tho.the third is the wheel, scrolls when you press it in. (intellimouse) :)

Just scrolling, I haven't assigned it to anything apart from in games...
I may assign it to something in fruityloops or rebirth (considers possibility of mouse wheel as a modwheel/pitch bender...).

you can get a program to use a joystick as a midi controller. havent tried it but is supposed to be v.good, never thought about using the wheel tho.

In work, yes, not sure at home. It does this thing where you control scrolling by moving the mouse up/down the screen scrolls. I had an old 3 buttoned mouse w/o wheel that did the same.
When wheel mice first came out I thought they were a gimmick, now I have an optical force feedback wheel mouse there's no going back...
