don't know. but I wouldn't think so... since it's a hard
drive capable of storing any kind of files.

There's no mention of encoding bitrate - it does not even
say that it encodes MP3, you can 'record via optional wired
remote control'... Certainly depends on the chipset they use
for encoding/decoding datastream.
I assume it decodes up to 320 kb/s and both CBR and VBR -
it's fairly common for this kind of device nowadays.
You can use it as a portable HD too. And it uses firewire
for transmission (much better and faster than USB1).

Notice how it holds 333hours 128kpbs or 667 64kbps. I
would of said that it could hold 666 hours... It's the MP3
player of the devil I tell you!
